With years of experience, New Omap offers a comprehensive range of (Molecular Sieve) desiccant dryer, designed to meet the varied needs of production departments across industries such as thermoforming, injection moulding, extrusion, and the demanding PET sector. These dryers are capable of handling even the most advanced high-tech materials, thanks to dedicated airflow and temperature control. Combined with the RCE function and specially insulated hoppers, they create an ideal drying environment.
The MD series desiccant dryers, featuring on-line TD hoppers and floor-standing units, are perfect for small to medium throughput. The MDC series, designed for beside-machine installation, comes trolley-mounted for easy handling and compactness. For higher throughput, the MDS units are robust, featuring TD hoppers from 300 dm³ and above, which can also be combined with multiple hoppers in the MDM series using a single dryer body.
MD/MDC/MDS (Molecular Sieve) Desiccant Dryer Series
The MD/MDC series represents the latest generation of compact twin-beads desiccant dryers, with modern design and innovative technical features that deliver excellent performance and energy-saving benefits. The frame is designed with self-centring side panels secured by spring locks.
The electronic control system, equipped with a next-generation microprocessor and LCD graphic display, allows easy interaction with various advanced functions, ensuring optimal drying performance and top-tier energy efficiency. The MD series comes with hoppers that can be directly installed on the machine’s material inlet, while the MDC series offers a trolley-mounted, beside-machine solution for safe and easy handling.
The medium-sized MDS twin-beads desiccant dryers are the ideal solution for drying hygroscopic plastic granules, effectively removing inherent moisture to achieve very low residual values before processing. The MDS range can achieve dew points as low as -50°C, providing high airflow rates for demanding applications.

- Regeneration phase utilises dehumidified dry air from the process, ensuring high performance and reduced dew point fluctuations. Regeneration occurs counter-current to the process flow to optimise the Mass Transfer Zone, increasing efficiency in the subsequent drying phase.
MD650-1350 Series Desiccant Dryer
The MD650-1350 series of twin-tower desiccant dryers are designed for multi-hopper central drying systems and large-volume hopper combinations. These large airflow models are available with one or two blowers.
MDM Modular Drying Systems
Modular drying solutions for multi-hopper systems. The MDM modular hopper frames are designed for desiccant dryers. The system includes integrated control panels for process heaters, along with piping and hopper valves.
For the TD15-200 series, frames are designed for one or two hoppers, while for the TD400-2000 series, the system is mounted directly on the hopper frames.
